The workshop was held at the Laurentian University campus in Sudbury,
Canada from Sunday 12th to Tuesday 14th December. This was a two day topical
workshop on the broad subject of low radioactivity techniques,
especially applied to neutrino detectors, double-beta decay and dark matter
experiments in underground laboratories.
Participants could arrive on Saturday the 11th December (or before), with workshop
sessions held on the 12th and 13th. There was a banquet dinner in the evening on the
12th, and underground tours of SNO were arranged on the 11th and 14th.
The workshop is funded in part by SNOLAB (through the Canada Foundation for
Innovation) and the Canadian Institute of Particle Physics (IPP),
and is organized by SNOLAB and Laurentian University.
